Notes: This patient has moderate constricted breast deformity as well as severe breast asymmetry. Her breasts are characterized by a narrow base width, an elevated, narrow, and tight inframammary fold (breast crease) and a “tubular” shape. The left is more severe than the right. The goal for her surgery was to increase her breast volume, improve symmetry, and create a round, more proportional breast shape. In addition to placing implants, the breast creases were widened and lowered. Incisions were made in the tissue of the breast from the inside to create a rounder breast shape. A periareolar mastopexy was also performed to reduce the conical shape of the left breast, to tighten the breast skin, and reduce the areolar diameter on both sides.
She is shown 1 year after surgery and is very pleased.
